Oil prices fall on expectations of increased OPEC production in August

Washington - Saba:

Oil prices fell on Tuesday, affected by expectations of increased OPEC production in August and fears of an economic slowdown driven by the possibility of raising US tariffs.

Brent crude futures for September delivery fell 16 cents, or 0.24 percent, to $66.58 a barrel, while US West Texas Intermediate crude fell 20 cents, or 0.31 percent, to $64.91 a barrel.
