Iranian government spokeswoman Fatemeh Mohajerani stated that the enemies do not know Iran and Iranians because they do not possess our civilization, which extends back thousands of years. She emphasized that this cultural heritage and civilizational wealth prevent us from allowing the enemy to raise the slightest dust on the robe of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution and inflict the slightest harm on His Eminence.
In her weekly press conference on Tuesday, as reported by the Iranian News Agency (IRNA), Mohajerani said: "During the aggression and the 12-day war, the enemy thought it could bring the people into the streets by attacking the country's military leaders and security forces and achieve its goals by inciting chaos. But this was a false illusion, because they did not know Iranians well." She emphasized that the Iranian people have not and will not allow any foreign enemy to carry out any action in Iran to disrupt the country's affairs.
She pointed to the people's solidarity and sympathy during the brutal enemy aggression, adding, "We achieved great and important achievements in the 12-day war imposed on us."
She said, "During these days, we witnessed amazing solidarity and cohesion between the people and various institutions. The people entered the field with all their strength, and the manifestations of sympathy were evident in their daily behavior."
The Iranian government spokesperson emphasized, "Ensuring the people's security, providing and distributing goods, providing medical care, returning pilgrims to the country, and stabilizing the economy are among the measures taken from the first moments of this war."
Regarding the latest statistics on the martyrs and wounded in the war imposed by the Zionist regime and the United States on the Iranian people, she said, "The Iranian Ministry of Health announced that this aggression resulted in the martyrdom of 935 people and the injury of 5,646, including 140 women and children."
Mohajerani added, "As the Minister and the Foreign Ministry spokesperson announced, the date for the negotiations has not yet been announced, and it will likely not be very soon, but no decision has been made in this regard."
