The official death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression in the Gaza Strip rose on Tuesday to 56,647, with 134,105 others reported wounded since October 7, 2023, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza.
In a daily statistical update, the ministry reported that hospitals in Gaza received 116 fatalities—four of whom were recovered from under rubble—and 463 injured persons over the past 24 hours.
The statement noted that a number of victims remain under debris and in open areas, unreachable by ambulances or civil defense teams due to difficult security conditions carried out by the aggression.
Since March 18, 2025, the health authorities have recorded 6,315 deaths and 22,064 injuries. The report also indicated that since the beginning of aid distribution at relief centers, 600 deaths and more than 4,278 injuries have been recorded.
