Dezful - Saba:
Ali Larijani, advisor to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, confirmed that the Iranian people broke the back of the Zionist entity and America during the 12-day war.
During the funeral ceremony for the bodies of martyred Lieutenant General Gholam Ali Rashid, his son Hojjat al-Islam Amin Abbas Rashid, and Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Nasir Baghban in the city of Dezful in Khuzestan Province, southwest Iran, on Sunday, Larijani said, "Lieutenant General Rashid was a commander with strategic thinking and a great man in all fields, and he understood the situation well," according to the Iranian news agency IRNA on Monday.
He added, "The Zionist entity has taken away from our regime and our people a fortune like Lieutenant General Rashid, and this is a great injustice. We must not forget that the American regime and the Zionists committed a great injustice against our country in this cowardly confrontation."
He pointed out that Trump claimed he came for negotiations, and the next day, he deceitfully attacked our country, claiming they had announced they would attack.
The advisor to the Iranian Supreme Leader stated, "Israel has always planned to divide Iran because, in order to dominate the Middle East, it cannot tolerate the existence of a powerful country like Iran. So, it attacked under the pretext of nuclear energy."
He pointed out that Israel opposes the existence of Iran and the Iranian people, adding, "Netanyahu has repeatedly reiterated the need to destroy the Islamic Republic because they have a problem with the very existence of our country."
He emphasized, "One of the most important factors in the enemy's sense of defeat and defeat is the unity of the people. The blood of great men that was shed has made the Iranian people vigilant."
He added, "The Iranian people broke the backs of Israel and America during the 12-day aggression. The enemy was unable to achieve any of its goals and was defeated."
Larijani noted that we too suffered losses in this war, saying, "When the enemy suffered heavy losses, it requested a ceasefire through mediators."
He added: The well-considered actions of the armed forces, the wise leadership of the Commander-in-Chief, and the solidarity of the people all led to our country's victory in the Twelve-Day War.
