West Bank - Saba:

On Monday, Israeli occupation forces launched a campaign of arrests and raids in several governorates of the occupied West Bank.

The Palestinian SAFA News Agency reported that Israeli forces arrested two citizens east of Qalqilia at dawn today.

Local sources reported that Israeli forces stormed the village of Baqa al-Hatab, east of Qalqilia, from its main entrance, raided several homes, and arrested citizens Sami Batta and Saed al-Hakam after raiding and searching their homes.

In the same context, Israeli forces stormed the village of Hajja, east of Qalqilia, and roamed its streets without recording any arrests.

For the eighth consecutive day, Israeli forces continue to close the entrance to the village of Kafr Laqif, east of Qalqilia, with an iron gate. This obstructs the movement of citizens and forces them to use rough dirt roads to reach their homes or workplaces.

In the city of Nablus, Israeli forces arrested a freed prisoner from Balata refugee camp, east of the city, at dawn today.

Sources reported that Israeli forces stormed the camp and raided several homes of prisoners released in the recent exchange deal.

The sources added that the forces arrested prisoner Fahed Sawalhi, who was released several months ago after spending 23 years in Israeli prisons. They also raided the homes of freed prisoners Hamida Marshood and Atallah Issa.

They indicated that the forces raided the home of freed prisoner Riyad Marshood in the suburb of Nablus and the town of Tal, southwest of the city.

During the raid, violent clashes erupted, during which gunfire was opened on Israeli forces, and a homemade explosive device (Kawa) was thrown at military vehicles.

In the city of Ramallah, enemy forces raided the city of Al-Bireh and the villages of Deir Abu Mash'al, west of Ramallah, and Burqa, east of the city, raiding several homes without making any arrests.

In the city of Hebron, enemy forces raided the town of Beit Ummar to the north and the city of Yatta to the south.

In a related development, the city of Tulkarm witnessed two simultaneous raids: one in the Aktaba suburb, north of the city, and the other in the town of Anabta, east of the city.
