The Public Prosecution in Ibb governorate on Monday destroyed a quantity of narcotic drugs, coinciding with the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking.
During the destruction process, Head of the Appeals Prosecution in the governorate Judge Abdulrahman al-Nuzaili explained that more than 79 kilograms of hashish and 43,000 ampoules and narcotic pills were destroyed.
Al-Nuzaili emphasized that these measures are in implementation of judicial rulings issued by the competent courts, which ordered the destruction of the seized items, as part of efforts to protect society from these deadly toxins.
He praised the role of the security services in confronting anything that could harm society.
Member of the Criminal Prosecution Judge Abdulrahman al-Yafrusi and Director of the Anti-Narcotics Department in Ibb emphasized that the seizure and destruction of these substances is the result of integrated work and cooperation between the security forces and the judiciary.
