Araghchi: Iranian people tolerates no insult, intimidation
[28/ June/2025]

Tehran - Saba:

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stressed that mutual respect is a condition for dialogue, and that any threat or humiliation will only show Iran's true strength.

This came in response to US President Donald Trump's ridiculous remarks, according to the Iranian news agency IRNA.

Araghchi wrote on the social media site X, according to IRNA reported: "The ingenuity and resilience of Iranians are well known in our magnificent carpets; carpets woven with hours of hard work and endless patience. But as a people, our ideological foundation is very simple and clear: We know our worth, we value our independence, and we will never let others decide our fate."

He continued: "If Trump truly wants to reach an agreement, he must abandon his insulting and unacceptable rhetoric toward the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Khamenei, and stop hurting millions of his loyal and sincere followers."

Referring to the Zionist regime's request for assistance from the United States in its aggression against Iran, Araqchi added: "The great and powerful Iranian nation, which has shown the world that the Israeli regime had no choice but to turn to 'the father' to escape the destruction caused by our missiles, will not tolerate threats and humiliation."

Araqchi warned Zionist and American officials: "If illusions lead to greater mistakes, Iran will undoubtedly reveal its true power; A force that will once and for all dispel any illusion about Iran's power."

The Iranian Foreign Minister concluded his message with the phrase: "Goodness begets goodness, and respect begets respect."
