MSF: US-Israeli aid distribution plan in Gaza must end immediately
[27/ June/2025]
Geneva – Saba:

Doctors Without Borders (MSF) called on Friday for an immediate end to the US-Israeli aid distribution plan in the Gaza Strip, implemented by the so-called "Gaza Humanitarian Foundation."

In a statement, the organization described the plan, supported by Israel and the United States, to distribute aid in Gaza as "deadly," stressing that this plan, launched a month ago, humiliates Palestinians and forces them to choose between starvation and risking their lives.

"This plan, which has killed more than 500 people and injured nearly 4,000 others while trying to obtain food, is genocide under the guise of humanitarian aid and must be ended immediately," according to al-Quds Press.

The organization called on the Israeli enemy authorities and its allies to lift the blockade on food, fuel, medical, and humanitarian supplies and to return to the existing humanitarian aid system previously coordinated by the United Nations.

In a statement, the organization's emergency coordinator in Gaza said that Palestinians are being directed to four distribution points in areas completely under "Israeli" control.

The statement added, "Gaza Humanitarian Foundation workers leave food boxes and open the fence, allowing thousands of people to enter at once and fight to the last grain of rice."

He added, "If people advance too early and approach the checkpoints, they are shot. If they arrive on time, and there is a surge and they jump over the fence, they are shot."

Apart from the oversight of the United Nations and international organizations, "Israel" and Washington began implementing a plan on May 27 to distribute limited aid through what is known as the "Gaza Humanitarian Foundation," forcing starving Palestinians to choose between death by starvation or being shot by the Israeli army.

With American and European support, the Israeli enemy army has continued to commit genocidal crimes in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, resulting in the martyrdom of 56,331 Palestinian citizens, the majority of whom are children and women, and the injury of 132,632 others.

To date, this is a preliminary toll, with thousands of victims still buried under the rubble and on the streets, unable to be reached by ambulances and rescue teams.
