At least ten Palestinians were martyred and others injured on Friday morning in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a gathering of civilians in Al-Tuffah neighborhood east of Gaza City, bringing the death toll in the Gaza Strip since dawn to at least 39 martyrs, according to preliminary figures.
The Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) reported that the strike hit an area near Shaaban Al-Reyes School, and the casualties were transported to Al-Ahli Arab Hospital (Al-Mamadani).
Medical sources also confirmed that two Palestinians were martyred and several others injured when Israeli forces opened fire on civilians near an aid distribution point south of Al-Tina Street in Khan Younis. They were taken to Kuwait Specialized Field Hospital.
Meanwhile, six Palestinians were killed and others injured when Israeli forces fired at civilians near Al-Shakoush area, close to an aid distribution point northwest of Rafah. Victims were transferred to the Red Cross Field Hospital in Mawasi Rafah.
Two more martyrs were reported following an Israeli airstrike on a residential house in Jabalia, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.
Earlier on Friday, two Palestinians were killed and others wounded when Israeli warplanes bombed a tent sheltering displaced families in the Mawasi area west of Khan Younis. Local sources identified the martyrs as Dr. Ayman Suleiman Abu Teir and his niece Amira Mohammad Abu Teir, who were killed in the same attack that previously claimed the lives of his mother, wife, and children during the ongoing Israeli genocide in Gaza.
Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis reported the arrival of the bodies of three more martyrs, killed by Israeli drone fire in Bani Suheila and Sheikh Nasser neighborhood, east of the city.
Another martyr was reported in Al-Qarara, north of Khan Younis, following an Israeli airstrike. This brings the total number of martyrs received by Nasser Hospital since dawn to 11, all victims of ongoing Israeli strikes on southern Gaza.
In Gaza City, fisherman Hassan Ali Maqdad was killed by Israeli naval gunfire, and his body was transported to Al-Shifa Medical Complex.
In central Gaza, Al-Awda Hospital in Nuseirat confirmed receiving the body of a martyr and 43 injuries, following an Israeli strike that targeted civilians waiting for aid on Salah Al-Din Street, south of Wadi Gaza.
Meanwhile, Israeli artillery targeted the Al-Shuja’iya and Al-Tuffah neighborhoods in eastern Gaza City, while the Israeli military carried out large-scale demolitions of homes and buildings, including the detonation of explosive-laden robots near Masoud Street east of Jabalia.
Additionally, Israeli artillery bombed Khan Younis, alongside further demolition operations in the northern parts of the city.
