London - Saba:
Liverpool FC has completed the signing of Milos Kerkez, the left-back from Bournemouth, on a five-year deal worth £40 million ($54.9 million).
The 21-year-old Kerkez becomes Liverpool’s third signing this summer, following the arrivals of Jeremie Frimpong and Florian Wirtz, the latter joining in a club-record deal.
With Valencia goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili set to join next month—a deal agreed upon 12 months ago—the total spending on new talent ahead of the pre-season training camp, starting in two weeks, will exceed £200 million.
Kerkez has featured in 74 matches for Bournemouth since joining from AZ Alkmaar two years ago.
