The Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), announced on Thursday that its fighters had destroyed an Israeli tank, an armored personnel carrier, and a bulldozer, and had also shot an Israeli soldier in the Gaza Strip.
In two separate statements received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the Brigades said: “After returning from the battle lines, Qassam fighters confirmed the destruction of two Merkava tanks, an armored personnel carrier, and a D9 military bulldozer with four pre-positioned high-explosive landmines east of Jabalia, north of the Gaza Strip, on June 20.”
