
Hajjah - Saba:
The Republican Hospital Authority in Hajjah governorate today signed a contract to implement a water purification station project for its dialysis center at a cost of 47 million and 80 thousand Yemeni riyals, funded by the Ministries of Finance, Health, and Environment.
The contract, signed by the head of the authority, Dr Ibrahim Al-Ashwal, with the representative of Royal Pharma Company, Dr Fahmi Al-Hanani, includes the supply, installation, operation, and training for the water purification station at the dialysis center.
During the signing ceremony—attended by the director of dialysis centers at the Ministry of Health and Environment, Mohammed Al-Abyad, and the head of legal affairs at the authority, Fouad Rajah—the authority’s chairman emphasized the project’s importance in alleviating the suffering of dialysis patients, particularly with the rising number of kidney failure cases.
He praised the Ministries of Health, Environment, and Finance for funding the project, which will enhance healthcare performance at the facility and ease patient hardships, stressing the need for implementation in accordance with technical studies and predefined specifications
