The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), announced on Thursday the destruction of two Israeli Merkava tanks, an armored personnel carrier (APC), and a military bulldozer.
In a brief statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the Brigades said: “After returning from the frontlines, Al-Qassam fighters confirmed the destruction of two Merkava tanks, an APC, and a D9 military bulldozer using four pre-planted high-explosive IEDs east of Jabalia, northern Gaza, on June 20, 2025.”
This operation comes as part of the ongoing response by Palestinian factions to the genocide being perpetrated by the Zionist enemy in the Gaza Strip—backed by the United States—since October 7, 2023. The aggression includes killing, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, while ignoring international appeals and International Court of Justice orders to cease hostilities.
