The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran affirmed on Thursday that while the Zionist entity started the war, it was the Iranian armed forces that brought it to an end.
In a detailed statement addressed to the Iranian people regarding the Zionist aggression against Iran, the Revolutionary Guards stated: "The terrorist Zionist army was the one that started this imposed war, but its end came at the hands of the devoted and courageous sons of the nation within the armed forces, particularly the Aerospace Division of the Guards, during the twenty-second wave of Operation 'True Promise 3'".
They added: "The recent strikes by the Aerospace Division were so lethal that they forced cries for a ceasefire from the throats of the bloodthirsty Zionist entity and the delusional American president".
The statement continued: "Your sons and servants in the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, following the Zionist army’s aggression against our country and its imposition of war on Iran, and in response to the call of the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and with the support of the Iranian people, designed and executed a series of operations under 'True Promise 3' in 22 intense, continuous, and multi-layered waves, targeting the enemy’s diverse and extensive military assets in the occupied territories of Quds".
They further stated: "The heroes of the Iranian people have once again proven that the nation’s brave soldiers do not leave aggression unanswered—and with their reliance on God, their unwavering resolve, and their crushing blows, they shattered the foolish delusion of Iran’s surrender and ridiculed it".
The statement elaborated: "The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps cannot fully describe or detail the loyal, unparalleled, and historic sacrifices of the armed forces—especially the valiant Mujahideen of the Aerospace Division, missile units, the courageous Basij, the unknown soldiers of intelligence, and air defense fighters—and nothing but martyrdom can truly repay these sacrifices and these Mujahideen".
The IRGC highlighted the most significant achievements of the recent war, stating: "Among the most notable accomplishments of this phase in punishing the aggressors—and as a mark of the misery of the terrorist Zionist murderers and their bloodthirsty supporters—we can point to: strengthening national unity, increasing social solidarity, deepening trust in the armed forces, reinforcing the spirit of self-reliance, exposing and dismantling domestic sabotage networks, elevating Iran’s standing in the hearts of the Islamic Ummah, and gaining international support for the just cause of the Islamic Republic and the aggression of the Zionist army".
They added: "Other key achievements include the collapse of the idea of regime change in Iran, the preservation of the foundations of strength in the nuclear program, the safeguarding of defensive and missile infrastructure, the shattering of the myth of the enemy’s costly multi-layered air defense, the deepening crisis of the entity’s survival in the occupied territories, the debunking of the myth of the invincible Zionist army, and the instilling of hope in oppressed nations to continue confronting the arrogant powers".
They affirmed: "The entry of the criminal and already-defeated American army into the battlefield to rescue the desperate soldiers of the Zionist army failed to alter the field equations or Iran’s upper hand—as Iran’s retaliatory missile strike on the US 'Al-Udeid' base in Qatar, as part of Operation 'Glad Tidings of Victory,' sent a new message of Iran’s power, one that the enemies understood clearly".
The Revolutionary Guards concluded their statement by declaring: "We pledge to the heroic Iranian people and the honorable families of the martyrs that we will never tire or waver in pursuing the two fixed strategic objectives of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps: the expulsion of the occupying America from the region and the destruction of the child-killing Zionist entity—for true stability and peace in the region depend on achieving these two blessed goals, and we will never loosen our grip on the enemy’s neck, continuing to punish it without respite".
