The Government Media Office in Gaza refuted the Israeli occupation's allegations on Thursday regarding the government or Hamas' control of humanitarian aid in the northern Gaza Strip, stressing that these allegations are completely false and part of a blatant attempt to justify the continued blockade, starvation, and the closure of crossings for the 118th consecutive day.
The office asserted in a statement that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Katz are promoting fabricated lies to cover up a complete humanitarian crime being committed against more than 2.4 million Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
The statement explained that Palestinian families and clans secured the aid convoys in the northern Gaza Strip, a purely grassroots effort without any interference from official bodies or factions. It emphasized that the goal was to deliver a minimum of food to civilians trapped in the deliberate chaos and absence of international support.
The statement considered this false propaganda part of a systematic policy pursued by the occupation to "engineer chaos" and create false pretexts to justify the continued denial of humanitarian aid and the deprivation of the population of their basic needs.
