Hajjah hosts awareness about World Counterdrug Day

Hajjah - Saba:

The Department of Narcotics Control in the security of the Hajjah Governorate organized an awareness event on the International Day of Narcotics Control under the slogan "Drug Trade destroying the health, security and morals of society."

In the event, the Director of the Governorate Security, Brigadier Hassan Al Qasimi, pointed to the great efforts made by the security services in combating drugs that target the West, the peoples and the nation of Muhammad, may God bless him and his family and peace.

He stated that the forces of polytheism and delusion went in the midst of the battle between faith and polytheism to fight the Arab and Islamic peoples in general and Yemenis in particular, a war of another kind of drugs after their military failure.

Brigadier Al Qasimi stressed the need to enhance awareness among society and introduce the dangers of the drug that causes the nation to deviate from its beliefs, religion, prophet and principles, noting the importance of involvement in society in fighting drugs.

In the event, which was attended by the Assistant Director of Security Colonel Qasim Qawara, Colonel Hizam Badr, and the leaders of the units and security areas, the Director of the Drug Enforcement Administration at the Governorate Security, Lt. Col. Muhammad Al -Ahumoumi, stressed the importance of reviving the International Day for Narcotics Control to raise awareness of its dangers and negative effects on the individual and society and enhance efforts to combat it.

He referred to the enemy's attempts to spoil society with the soft war in the moral side or spread the drugs from which other crimes branch and negatively affect society.

And that the increasing amounts of seized drugs confirm the systematic targeting of the enemy to the people of faith in ideological, mentally and morally and destabilizing security and stability.

He explained that the quantities of the drug seized during the past year are 212 kilograms of hashish, 55 thousand and 631 pills, and 14 grams of Shabu during 31 operations, 57 accused were seized.
