Masses of people in the Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate in occupied Palestine held a funeral today (Thursday) for three Palestinian martyrs who were killed by Zionist settler militias on Wednesday evening during an attack on the town of Kafr Malik, east of Ramallah.
Funeral prayers were performed for the three martyrs before their bodies were laid to rest in the town’s cemetery, according to the official Palestinian news agency.
The three Palestinians—Murshid Hamayel, Mohammed Al-Naji, and Lutfi Sabri—were killed in a brutal assault by Zionist settlers, who also set fire to civilian property during the raid.
In response, a general commercial strike swept through the Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate, in mourning and protest, following a call by the Fatah movement to honor the martyrs.
