Al-Durayhimi district in Hodeida governorate on Wednesday hosted a cultural symposium to commemorate the Prophet's migration.
The event which held was organized by the local authority in coordination with the Guidance Sector and the Zakat Office.
District Director Mohammed al-Musawi highlighted the Prophet's migration as a pivotal moment for the Islamic nation, urging attendees to draw lessons to strengthen steadfastness and faith.
He emphasized the anniversary as an opportunity to foster cohesion and awareness against aggression, and deepen connection to the Prophet's values.
Ismail Maqbool, the district's guidance officer, described the migration as a divine project to build a strong nation capable of carrying Islam's message, stressing the need to embody these values in contemporary education and culture.
Zakat Office's awareness officer Abdulrahim Numais underscored that the commemoration reflects the sacrifices made by the Prophet and his companions. He called for celebrating the occasion by expanding awareness efforts and consolidating social solidarity principles.
