Nablus – Saba:
Zionist enemy forces seized a residential building on Tuesday evening and converted it into a military barracks in the village of Al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya, south of Nablus in occupied Palestine.
According to the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA), a number of Zionist military vehicles and an infantry unit stormed the house of citizen Nael Aweis in the Al-Shamiya neighborhood of the village, turning it into a military outpost and raising the Zionist enemy's flag on its roof.
The agency reported that several Zionist military vehicles were patrolling the village, with infantry units restricting the movement of Palestinian citizens and harassing them.
Recently, Zionist enemy forces have escalated their policy of converting Palestinian houses in the West Bank into military barracks, forcibly evicting residents, vandalizing , stealing their property, and turning residential areas into closed military zones. These actions constitute a blatant violation of international law and all international norms and conventions, as stated in a report by the Government Communications Center.
Zionist soldiers use these houses as observation points, field command centers, sniper positions, or sites for on-site interrogations of detainees. In some cases, entire residential buildings—containing multiple apartments or floors—have been converted into military compounds.
Testimonies from Palestinian citizens document instances of beatings and humiliation during forced evacuations, as well as the theft of personal belongings and money by enemy soldiers. In other cases, soldiers have deliberately destroyed the entire contents of houses.
