Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian affirmed on Tuesday that Iran’s strength and defensive capabilities have always been—and will remain—dedicated to promoting peace and friendship among Muslim brothers and historical neighbors.
In a message to the Iranian people, Pezeshkian stated, “Our wisdom and prudence will thwart the evils of enemies who seek to sow discord and division among us.”
He added, “The terrorist attack coincided with baseless and repetitive pretexts, occurring at the same time as Iran’s diplomatic efforts to eliminate any public misunderstandings.”
Pezeshkian continued, “Iran was present at the negotiating table, and the world witnessed Iran’s consistent stance and coherent decisions. However, history will not forget how Iran’s enemies violated their covenants and resorted to aggression and invasion during negotiations.”
The Iranian president emphasized, “After overcoming this test, we will continue restoring normalcy across the country, focusing our efforts on reconstruction and compensating the victims by identifying strengths and weaknesses.”
He concluded, “I declare to neighboring and regional countries that we firmly believe in coexistence and stability.”
