Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said early Tuesday that if the Israeli entity halts its illegal aggression against the Iranian people until 4:00 a.m. today, Iran also does not intend to continue responding.
Commenting on the alleged ceasefire announced by US President Donald Trump, Araqchi said in a post on the X platform: “Currently, there is no agreement regarding a ceasefire or a cessation of operations. However, if the Israeli entity halts its illegal aggression against the Iranian people until 4:00 a.m. today, we also do not intend to continue responding.”
He added: “We have said repeatedly that the Israeli entity is the one who started the war, not us,” according to Iran’s Tasnim News Agency.
The Iranian Foreign Minister concluded his post by saying: “The final decision regarding the cessation of military operations will be made by us later.”
