Local sources reported to the Palestinian News Agency "Wafa" that after opening the gate at the northern entrance, the enemy forces set up a military checkpoint, preventing vehicles from passing, bringing traffic to a near-complete standstill in both directions.
It is noteworthy that the enemy forces have continued to tighten the noose around the Salfit Governorate for months, closing its main and secondary entrances and erecting sudden checkpoints, as part of a policy aimed at undermining daily life there.
