The College of Medicine and Surgery at Hodeidah University organized a scientific workshop to announce its postgraduate programs, in coordination with the Vice Deanship of Postgraduate Studies and the Center for Development and Quality Assurance. The workshop aims to launch quality programs within the university's 2025 strategy to enhance scientific research and meet community needs.
The university president, Dr. Mohammed Al-Ahdal, praised this step, emphasizing the importance of scientific research as a key partner in the university's mission and the pursuit of effective partnerships with public and private institutions. For his part, the dean of the college, Dr. Mohammed Suhail, announced the launch of three programs in their first phase (Public Health, Health Administration, and Anatomy), while the Quality Center indicated future plans to expand the programs.
The participants emphasized the importance of these programs in raising the efficiency of medical personnel and improving the quality of health services. They also praised the university's role in overcoming challenges and expanding academically despite the aggression.
