Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi arrived in Moscow last night for an official visit, during which he will meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The Iranian Mehr News Agency reported that Araghchi's visit to Moscow aims to hold consultations with the Russian president and senior officials to discuss regional and international developments following the US and Zionist military aggression against Iran.
Upon his arrival in Moscow, the Foreign Minister said, "During my meeting with the Russian president, I will discuss confronting common challenges and threats following recent developments."
Araghchi added, "We will hold more serious discussions and consultations with Russia... Given the circumstances in the region, it is essential that consultations with Russia be more precise, serious, and closer."
He emphasized, "We will hold serious and important discussions with Putin, and I am certain that they will be in the interests of both countries."
