Algiers – Saba:
Algerian Foreign Minister Ahmed Attaf strongly condemned the "Zionist-American aggression" against Iran’s national sovereignty, territorial integrity, and peaceful nuclear facilities during a meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian on Sunday.

According to Iran’s Mehr News Agency, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian, who traveled to Istanbul to attend the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) foreign ministers' meeting, continued consultations with his counterparts from Islamic countries and held talks with Algerian Foreign Minister Ahmed Attaf on the sidelines of the event.

During the meeting, the Algerian Foreign Minister denounced the aggression by the "Zionist entity and the U.S." against Iran’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and peaceful nuclear installations. He also expressed condolences for the martyrdom of a group of senior military leaders, scientists, university professors, and innocent Iranian civilians.

Attaf further affirmed Algeria’s solidarity—both government and people—with Iran, expressing deep concern over the repercussions of the attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities for regional peace and stability.

For his part, the Iranian Foreign Minister appreciated Algeria’s stance and efforts in condemning the "Zionist entity’s aggression" against Iran in international and regional forums, particularly the United Nations Security Council and the OIC.

He emphasized that the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran would continue to firmly defend the country’s sovereignty, national security, and territorial integrity in accordance with the UN Charter.
