Behrouz Kamalvandi, Deputy Head and Spokesman of the Iranian Atomic Energy Organization, affirmed that the growth of the country's nuclear industry will not stop.
According to the Iranian Tasnim News Agency, Kamalvandi stated in an interview with Iranian television regarding recent U.S. attacks on Iranian nuclear facilities on Sunday that "bombing nuclear facilities is a violation of international laws."
He added, "The Islamic Republic of Iran, both in previous instances and this time, has objected to this action and has formally protested to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and the United Nations Security Council."
The spokesman for the Atomic Energy Organization emphasized that everyone should know this industry is deeply rooted in Iran, and its national foundations cannot be uprooted. He stated, "It is true that we have suffered damages, but this is not the first time this industry has been harmed."
Kamalvandi pointed out that similar incidents have occurred in the past, and Iran was able to quickly compensate for the damages thanks to its available capabilities and resources. He stressed, "Naturally, this industry must continue, and its growth will not stop."
