Parliament expressed its condemnation and denunciation of the blatant U.S. aggression that targeted the capabilities of the Iranian people.
In a statement issued today, Parliament considered the US aggression a flagrant violation of international law and the UN Charter, a blatant violation of the sovereignty of an independent state, and a serious threat to regional and international security and stability.
It emphasized that the US aggression comes in the context of retaliation for the supportive stances of the sisterly Islamic Republic of Iran for the Palestinian cause.
The statement indicated that the shameful Arab and Islamic silence has encouraged America and the Zionist entity to persist in committing further brutal massacres and crimes of genocide against civilians in Palestine, Yemen, Lebanon, Syria, and Iran.
It also emphasized that the US escalation will not weaken the resolve of the axis of resistance and the free people of the nation, but will rather increase their determination to continue their jihadist role in support of the Palestinian cause and the right of peoples to be liberated from US-Israeli hegemony and arrogance. The Parliament reiterated the Yemeni people's solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Iran, its leadership and people, in confronting the Zionist-American aggression.
It also renewed its call to parliaments, countries, peoples, and free people of the nation to pressure the regimes to end their shameful silence and unite Arab and Islamic efforts to confront the Zionist-American arrogance and put an end to the actions, violations, and attacks perpetrated by America in the region.
The Parliament held the United States fully responsible for this escalation, warning of its grave consequences for the security and stability of the region and the world. It also condemned the international community's deafening silence regarding the horrific crimes committed by the occupying entity against the Palestinian people and the peoples of the region.
