IRGC fires 'Khibar' missile for first time at occupied lands

Tehran - Saba:

The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) launched a salvo of 40 missiles towards the occupied Palestinian territories in response to the targeting of Iranian nuclear reactors.

The IRGC said in a statement that it had carried out the 20th wave of missile and drone attacks. against Israeli targets, as this operation witnessed the use of the Khaibar missile for the first time.

Iranian reports confirmed that "the new missile was actually launched towards the occupied Palestinian territories during the operation, a qualitative development adding to Tehran's missile arsenal."

The IRGC statement added that "the 20th wave of Operation True Promise 3 was carried out using a combination of long-range liquid and solid-fuel missiles equipped with destructive warheads, and the use of new tactics to bypass the enemy's defensive shield against the following targets: Ben Gurion Airport, the Israeli Biological Research Center, regime support bases, and various command and control centers."

Iranian state media reported that the nuclear sites bombed by the United States did not contain materials that could cause radiation.

The official IRNA news agency said that "the nuclear sites bombed by Washington do not contain materials that could cause radiation."

For his part, Hassan Abedini, deputy political director of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB), said in statements to state television that "the three sites mentioned by (US President Donald) Trump (Natanz, Fordow, and Isfahan) were under the supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency," noting that "there are no materials at these sites that could cause radiation."
