Israeli media reported on Sunday that 16 people were transferred to hospitals as a result of the Iranian attack, while others remained trapped under the rubble.
An Israeli ambulance spokesman stated: "Following the latest warnings, Magen David Adom paramedics are providing medical treatment and transporting 16 injured people to the hospital." He noted that ambulance teams are surveying other sites and that information will be updated later.
Israeli Army Radio reported that approximately 20 people were trapped under the rubble at the site of the direct hit in Ness Ziona, south of Tel Aviv.
Israeli reports indicated that 27 rockets were fired toward the north and center during the last hour, with 22 in the first salvo and five in the second. Some of the reported impacts were caused by interceptor missile fragments.
