European capitals see rallies calling for end to Israeli genocide, assault

Several European capitals witnessed large demonstrations yesterday, Saturday, in solidarity with the Palestinian people and to demand an end to the genocide committed by the Zionist enemy in the Gaza Strip.

Tens of thousands of demonstrators in the British capital, London, raised Palestinian flags and banners demanding an end to the genocide in Gaza. They also held banners demanding an end to the Israeli enemy's aggression against Iran, according to the Palestinian Ma'an News Agency.

The protesters called on the British government to stop arming the Israeli enemy, citing their fears of an escalation in the Middle East as a result of the Israeli aggression against Iran.

The demonstrators in London expressed their regret that "the situation is getting more dangerous in Gaza... under the eyes of the entire world," stressing that "it is important to avoid another war in the Middle East."

A large demonstration also took place in central Berlin, Germany, during which demonstrators raised the Iranian flag and called for sanctions against Israel and a ban on arms shipments during a protest against the situation in Gaza in front of the German parliament (the Bundestag) in Berlin.

Meanwhile, the Italian capital, Rome, witnessed a massive march in support of Palestine and Gaza, during which demonstrators demanded an end to the genocide in Gaza and the West Bank.

In the Swedish capital, Stockholm, hundreds demonstrated against the massacres committed by the Israeli enemy army against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

The demonstrators gathered in response to a call from civil society organizations to demand an immediate end to the crimes of the Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip.

The demonstrators carried Palestinian flags, pictures of children killed in the Israeli aggression, and banners reading "Stop the genocide committed by the Zionist entity" in Palestine.

This is part of demonstrations taking place in numerous European cities around the world, condemning the genocide committed by the Israeli enemy army against the Palestinian people.

With American and European support, the Israeli enemy army continues Since October 7, 2023, genocide has been perpetrated in the Gaza Strip, resulting in the deaths of 55,908 Palestinian citizens, the majority of whom were children and women, and the injury of 131,138 others, as of Saturday. This is a preliminary toll, with thousands of victims still under the rubble and on the streets, unable to be reached by ambulance and rescue crews.
