The Hague - Saba:
Iranian Ambassador to The Hague, Hadi Farajvand, emphasized that the Zionist entity aggression is a threat to world peace.
In an interview with the Dutch News Hour channel, Farajvand described the Zionist entity attack on Iran as a blatant aggression and an unprecedented violation of international law, endangering global peace and security, according to the Iranian Mehr News Agency on Saturday.
He emphasized that Iran's peaceful nuclear facilities are under the full supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency, and that targeting them is a blatant and unjustifiable crime.
Farajvand also stated regarding the Netherlands' role: "Unfortunately, the Netherlands' response to this crisis was inappropriate. It was expected that The Hague, as the center of international law and the seat of two international legal institutions—the International Court of Justice and the International Criminal Court—would explicitly condemn the Zionist entity aggression."
The Iranian ambassador emphasized that Iran believes in the logic of dialogue and diplomacy, but it is the Zionist entity that is declaring its opposition to the diplomatic path.
In response to a question about the possibility of a US attack on Iran, Farajvand warned, "The Americans must stop their threats and rhetoric; Iran will never negotiate under the pressure of threats. It is self-evident that if Washington joins this aggression, the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran will defend the country vigorously and respond appropriately."
