Israeli Channel 12 reported, citing the railway company, on Friday that the Beersheba train station was immediately closed after being directly damaged by an Iranian missile.
The sources said that emergency and repair teams have begun work at the site, while train traffic to and from the city has been suspended until further notice.
Israeli media reported hearing loud explosions in the south after Iran launched a new batch of missiles on Friday morning, and information confirmed that an Iranian missile directly landed on Beersheba.
