The Commander-in-Chief of the Iranian Armed Forces and Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, issued a decree on Thursday appointing Brigadier General Mohammad Karami as Commander of the IRGC Ground Forces.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces told Mehr News Agency that the appointment of Brigadier General Karmi came at the suggestion of the Commander-in-Chief of the IRGC and in light of his competence and valuable experience.
He stated that the overall capabilities and readiness of all divisions are expected to increase day by day, as well as to strengthen the piety and insight of the personnel and to enhance the morale of the forces in the process of building forces on par with the Islamic Revolution.
