The Russian Defense Ministry announced that the Air Force launched an airstrike on a Ukrainian forces' gathering in the Zaporizhia region.
The ministry said in a statement: "As a result of coordinated reconnaissance activities by the Russian Armed Forces, a gathering of a Ukrainian forces unit was discovered in the area of the town of Malaya Tokmachka in the Zaporizhia region."
