The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) has begun operating its Al-Mawasi Field Hospital west of Khan Yunis, the hospital aims to provide emergency medical services to displaced persons, amid the deteriorating health conditions and ongoing displacement crisis in the Gaza Strip.
The hospital has 60 beds, two operating rooms, an emergency department, a laboratory, and an x-ray department, the society is seeking to increase its hospitalization capacity in the coming period, including the addition of four intensive care beds, which will contribute to improving the response to critical cases, according to the Palestinian News Agency.
