Gaza – Saba:
Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), and Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad in Palestine, announced on Wednesday that they carried out a joint operation resulting in the killing of a Zionist soldier east of Khan Younis, south of the Gaza Strip.
In a joint statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), the two groups stated: "In a joint operation... the fighters of Al-Qassam and Al-Quds Brigades successfully sniped and immediately killed a Zionist soldier in Al-Absan area east of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip. Our fighters observed the enemy's helicopter landing for evacuation."
This operation comes as part of the Palestinian resistance factions' response to the genocide crimes committed by the Zionist enemy against the people of Gaza, with American support, since October 7, 2023—including killings, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement—while disregarding international appeals and the International Court of Justice's orders to halt these actions.
