A training workshop for the planning team on the priorities of the 1447H plan began on Wednesday in Raymah province, organized by the Planning Sector in coordination with the local authority in the province.
The two-day workshop aims to equip 28 planning staff from executive offices, directorates, and representatives of the Bonyan Foundation with knowledge about the plan’s priorities, the executive mechanism for its preparation, as well as procedural steps and form preparation at the central and district levels in accordance with the approved mechanism.
During the opening, province Deputy Fahd Al-Harsi emphasized the importance of benefiting from the workshop and developing a clear vision for preparing and implementing the province’s developmental plans.
He pointed out the local authority’s keenness to implement specialized training programs that meet the needs of various sectors in the province’s districts , contribute to developing administrative , professional skills in line with the latest practices and approved standards. This, he noted, would help advance developmental and service projects in the province.
Deputy Al-Harsi also stressed the importance of defining project priorities in district plans and enhancing institutional efficiency, explaining that planning is the cornerstone of developmental work.
Meanwhile, Farouq Al-Jaafari, head of the Planning Sector in the province, clarified that the workshop aims to prepare a timeline for updating developmental reports and the executive mechanism for drafting the 1447H annual plan.
He noted that projects will be determined through rapid planning at the governorate center and districts based on clear field surveys.
