Hebrew media revealed that the recent Iranian missile strike targeting the settlement of Bat Yam in central Israel was devastating, leveling part of the coastal city overnight.
The Times of Israel reported that Israeli rescue teams worked tirelessly throughout Sunday and into Monday, racing against time to locate survivors after the devastating Iranian missile strike.
The newspaper added that as of Sunday afternoon, at least seven settlers had been confirmed dead, and three others were feared missing under the rubble.
Later on Monday morning, the bodies of two of the missing were found, bringing the death toll to nine. The search for the remaining missing continues.
The late-night strike caused widespread damage to residential and commercial buildings, destroying entire floors and injuring nearly 200 people.
