Dhamar – Saba:
Dhamar undersecretaries Mohammed Abdulrazzaq and Mahmoud al-Jubain on Sunday inaugurated a drinking water chlorination and sterilization project in Dhamar governorate, a joint effort by the General Authority for Rural Water Projects and the Local Water and Sanitation Corporation.
The project aims to combat the spread of acute watery diarrhea, including cholera, by targeting water networks, reservoirs, private wells, and tankers.
The undersecretaries emphasized the project's role in preventive measures and called for concerted efforts in hygiene.
Officials from the implementing bodies highlighted the project's goal of providing clean drinking water, especially in areas with difficult access to secure sources, and urged community adherence to health instructions and personal hygiene practices.
