Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian criticized on Sunday the United States and some Western countries for supporting the criminal practices of the Zionist entity.
According to the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA), Pezeshkian stated during a government meeting that the U.S. has a direct role in the Zionist aggression.
He emphasized the necessity of confronting the aggression, saying, "These events have once again demonstrated that the Zionist entity adheres to no humanitarian, legal, or international rules."
Pezeshkian added, "The Zionist entity is incapable of taking any action without American permission, and what we are witnessing today is being carried out with direct support from Washington—despite their attempts to conceal their role in the media."
The Iranian president affirmed that "the Islamic Republic has never sought war or conflict," stating, "However, as our armed forces, including the powerful army and Revolutionary Guards, have demonstrated, they have so far delivered appropriate and strong responses."
Pezeshkian continued, "Islamic and regional countries must take a clear, decisive, and effective stance against the aggression of the Zionist entity and its supporters."
