The Iranian Revolutionary Guard mourned, on Sunday, a group of senior commanders of the Aerospace Force who were martyred in the recent cowardly terrorist attacks carried by the Zionist enemy entity.
The Public Relations of the Revolutionary Guard issued a statement expressing "congratulations and condolences on the martyrdom of a number of senior, oppressed, and honorable commanders of the Revolutionary Guard's Aerospace Force, who were martyred last Friday dawn alongside Brigadier General Haj Hajizadeh," according to the Iranian news agency Tasnim.
The statement said: "With deep sorrow and grief, we announce the martyrdom of a group of senior commanders of the Revolutionary Guard's Aerospace Force, alongside the Mujahid Brigadier General Haj Hajizadeh. The martyred heroes are: Mahmoud Baqeri, Davoud Sheikhian, Mohammad Baqer Taherpour, Mansour Safari Pour, Masoud Tayyeb, Khosrow Hasani, and Javad Garsara, who ascended to the heights of martyrdom as a result of the cowardly terrorist attacks launched by the criminal Zionist entity on Friday dawn."
It added: "Although the martyrdom of these heroic commanders has wounded the hearts of the Iranian people and the armed forces, their pure blood has only strengthened the steadfastness of the deep-rooted Islamic Revolution. Indeed, it has reinforced the determination of the Iranian people and their revolutionary sons to confront global Zionism and its criminal and malicious allies with even greater resolve."
