The political and security deputy of Qom Province in Iran and spokesman for the province's Crisis Management Committee, Morteza Heidari, announced on Sunday that Iranian air defense forces had successfully repelled several drone attacks launched by the Zionist entity over the past few hours.
Heidari explained that Iranian army units, thanks to their vigilance and rapid response, were able to detect and destroy a number of hostile drones that attempted to target the air defense systems of the Sayyida Fatima Complex, according to the Iranian Tasnim News Agency.
He said that the operation did not result in any casualties or significant damage, noting that minor damage occurred to one of the launch pads, which was immediately repaired and maintained.
Heidari denied rumors circulating about the Maarif Radio broadcast station or its neighboring facilities being harmed, stressing that all employees at these sites are safe and no incidents have been reported in the vicinity.
