Iraq held the United States responsible on Saturday for protecting its airspace from Zionist violations.
The official Iraqi News Agency (INA) quoted a responsible government source as saying, "Iraq has strongly demanded that the United States of America, in an official letter, assume its role by preventing Zionist aircraft from violating Iraqi airspace, based on the Joint Framework Agreement," stressing "the importance of respecting Iraq's sovereignty and the integrity of its airspace."
The source stressed that "the United States, as the country leading the international coalition to fight ISIS, is required to assume its responsibilities and prevent any violations of Iraq's sovereignty over its airspace or any threats to it."
Zionist enemy aircraft have been carrying out a brutal aggression against Iran since dawn Friday, passing through Iraqi airspace.
