The Zionist enemy launched a drone attack on the South Pars gas refinery in southern Iran on Saturday evening.
Iran's Tasnim News Agency reported that a small Zionist drone collided with a refining complex in Phase 14 of the South Pars gas project, causing a violent explosion at the refinery.
The agency reported that the Zionist drone targeted the Fajr Jam refinery in the onshore section of Phase 14 of the South Pars gas field, causing a massive explosion at the refinery and a fire that broke out in part of it.
The agency indicated that no precise details were announced regarding the extent of the potential losses, but eyewitnesses and workers at the complex confirmed that the explosion was extremely severe. The Iranian Ministry of Petroleum confirmed that the incident is being investigated.
