Tehran – Saba:
Iranian air defense forces shot down four Zionist drones in the airspace of Ilam province and the city of Shiraz on Saturday.
The deputy governor for security affairs in Ilam province announced the downing of three advanced Zionist drones in the province's airspace.
The deputy governor said that the country's air defense network, stationed in Ilam, immediately intervened after a number of small drones and reconnaissance vehicles violated the province's airspace and managed to destroy three advanced Zionist drones in various areas, according to Tasnim International News Agency.
He added: "Yesterday, we witnessed several explosions and attacks in various parts of the province due to Zionist missiles, but the atmosphere is now calm and no attacks have been recorded so far."
He stressed that the armed forces and air defense network are on full alert, and that in the event of any infiltration into the country, they will respond to the enemy as quickly as possible.
In Shiraz, Tasnim News Agency reported that air defense forces shot down a small Israeli drone on Saturday afternoon, which was approaching a military industrial center in the region.
The agency reported that the drone was about to approach a sensitive military facility, but the rapid intervention of air defense forces led to its complete destruction. Officials confirmed that the situation at the facility is now completely stable and calm.
The agency noted that a fire was recorded on land near the Akbarabad area of Shiraz, but investigations confirmed that it had no connection to the recent Israeli attacks.
