Gaza - Saba:
Approximately 23 Palestinian citizens were martyred and dozens wounded early Saturday morning as Israeli enemy shelling targeted various areas of the Gaza Strip, with a heavy concentration in the central region.
Local Palestinian sources reported that Israeli forces opened fire directly at civilians near aid distribution points in central Gaza, resulting in around 15 fatalities and numerous injuries.
Casualties were transported to al-Awda and al-Aqsa Martyrs hospitals.
Separately, Palestinian medical sources confirmed that five martyrs arrived at al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City, including two who succumbed to wounds from an airstrike on a tent near al-Khalidi Mosque, coinciding with artillery shelling east of al-Tuffah neighborhood. Additionally, three Palestinian citizens were martyred when Israeli drones targeted a group of civilians near the Islamic University south of Khan Yunis.
Since October 7, 2023, the Gaza Strip has been subjected to what is described as a genocidal war by the Israeli enemy, involving killings, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement.
This continues despite international appeals and International Court of Justice orders. The ongoing conflict has resulted in over 182,000 Palestinians dead and wounded, predominantly children and women, with over 11,000 still missing. Hundreds of thousands have been displaced, and famine has claimed numerous lives, including children.
