Tehran - Saba:
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei has stressed that it is unreasonable for Iran to wage such a war in the region without coordination or a green light from the United States, saying: "It is still unclear what decision we will make on Sunday regarding the next round of negotiations in this regard."
Regarding Iran's decision to participate in the next round of negotiations with the United States despite the Zionist regime's aggression on the country, Baghaei said, according to the Iranian news agency IRNA on Saturday: "The other side has emptied the negotiations of their meaning. You cannot simultaneously claim to be negotiating and engaging in dialogue to reach an understanding on an issue, while simultaneously dividing labor and allowing a racist regime to violate the country's territorial integrity."
Baghhaei emphasized that Iran held the US government responsible for the consequences and repercussions of this ill-considered and illegal measure taken by the Zionist regime. He said: "It is still unclear what decision we will make on Sunday in this regard."
He added: "The Zionist entity has always strived to drag Western countries into conflict and involvement in the region, and it appears to have succeeded this time as well, somehow influencing the diplomatic process with this adventure. This, in fact, demonstrates that American decision-makers are still deeply influenced by this entity."
It is worth noting that the Zionist entity launched attacks on areas in Tehran and other cities across the country at dawn on Friday, and several residential buildings were bombed in these attacks.
These attacks martyred the Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Major General Hossein Salami; the Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, Major General Mohammad Bagheri; the Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Aerospace Force, Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh; the Member of Parliament and former Head of the Atomic Energy Organization, Fereydoun Abbasi; the Commander of the Khatam al-Anbia (PBUH) Headquarters, Major General Gholam Ali Rashid; and the nuclear scientist and President of Azadi University, Dr. Mohammad Mehdi Tehranchi.
