The Russian Ministry of Defense has announced that the army's air defense forces destroyed 125 Ukrainian drones over Russian territory last night.
RT quoted the ministry as saying in a statement on Friday: "From 9:45 PM Moscow time on June 12 to 5:25 AM Moscow time on June 13, Russian air defense systems on duty intercepted and destroyed 125 enemy aircraft."
According to the ministry's statement, 70 drones were destroyed over the Republic of Crimea, 15 over Oryol Region, 11 over Kursk Region and the same number over Saratov Region, nine over Belgorod Region, seven over the Black Sea, one over Bryansk Region, and the same number over Voronezh Region.
Ukrainian forces target Russian border areas in the Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, Voronezh, and Rostov regions, as well as Crimea, on an almost daily basis, with drones and missiles.
