Hamas has confirmed that the approval by the Minister of Finance in the Zionist enemy government, the extremist war criminal Smotrich, of the decision to seize 800 dunams of land east of Ramallah, near the "Malachi Hashalom" settlement outpost, will ignite a comprehensive confrontation with the enemy.
Hamas said in a statement, The approval by the Minister of Finance in the Zionist enemy government, the extremist criminal Smotrich, of the decision to seize 800 dunams of land east of Ramallah, near the "Malachi Hashalom" settlement outpost, is a practical implementation of his "colonial" plans in the West Bank and an affirmation of his fascist government's policies that adopt annexation and forced displacement projects."
The movement added, "This decision, and the dangerous settlement steps that preceded it in the West Bank, require the activation of all forms of popular resistance and the ignition of a comprehensive confrontation with the Zionist enemy. Our people and their valiant resistance are the impregnable bulwark against Zionist attempts to control the land and holy sites."
Hamas called on the international community to assume its responsibilities regarding the systematic invasion and settlement expansion in the West Bank, and the ongoing aggression against the Palestinian people and their land. This can be done by isolating the Israeli enemy entity, severing all ties with it, and holding it accountable for its crimes and blatant violations of international law and humanitarian conventions.
It called on the masses of the proud Palestinian people to escalate the confrontation with the Israeli enemy in all arenas of the West Bank and thwart its settlement plans by activating the tools of comprehensive resistance and confusing the enemy and its settlers by all legitimate means and methods."
