Ramallah – Saba:

Israeli enemy authorities issued a decision on Wednesday to bulldoze and uproot more trees in the lands of the town of Sinjil, north of Ramallah.

The official Palestinian News Agency reported that enemy forces decided to bulldoze and uproot trees from 9.5 dunams of citizens' land in the town of Sinjil to build the barbed wire wall.

According to the Sinjil Municipality, the Israeli enemy has transformed half of Sinjil's land area into military zones and colonial outposts. It has also surrounded the town with a barbed wire wall, inflicting heavy losses on farmers due to the targeting of the hill plain occupied by settlers. They have also stolen the farmers' wheat crops.

The town of Sinjil is subject to repeated raids and attacks by settlers on residents and their property, under the protection of the Israeli army, which storms the town in advance to secure their raids, particularly the "hill" area, which separates the villages of Sinjil and the adjacent eastern farm.

Last year, Israeli enemy forces notified the town's residents of the seizure of 30 dunams of land and began building the barbed wire wall—which extends over a kilometer and is four meters high—along Route 60. This wall will isolate Sinjil from the main road and prevent residents from accessing their lands behind the wall, which are estimated to cover more than 8,000 dunams.
